Great list!

Some of them I’ve never heard of.

There is one more that was missing from the list though: the 960.gs Framework (http://960.gs/)

Keep up the good work!

What about CSS Diagnostics which is a css framework that allows you to highlight ugly areas within your html using CSS? Here is a link to that -http://www.nealgrosskopf.com/tech/thread.asp?pid=17

My favorites are: YUI Grids CSS, YAML CSS Framework and Blueprint CSS are one of the best CSS frameworks I’ve known till date, though I haven’t checked out the rest of them.

You totally forgot about the ‘BlueTrip’ CSS framework — http://capsizedesigns.com/blog/2008/04/bluetripcss-a-fusion-of-blueprint-and-tripoli/ It takes the best of BluePrint CSS and tripoli and combines them. (with a bit of a few other frameworks for good measure). Demo on the site.

For Ruby-based sites there’s Haml, Sass, and Blueprint-Sass. Haml is a great way to write markup, Sass is similar to CleverCSS, and Blueprint-Sass is a port of Blueprint to Sass brings all the power of blueprint without the need to mix content and presentation.
Haml and Sass are here: http://haml.hamptoncatlin.com/
Blueprint Sass is here: http://github.com/chriseppstein/blueprint-sass

I like this list but some of your titles are repeated, you should fix that so people don’t get confused. Thanks for posting this.

I’m usually not so big on self-promotion, but my CSS framework, SenCSs, does things very different from all those listed here, so I think it would make a good addition to this list.

It takes care of repetitive parts of your website’s design but lets you take care of your own layout instead of forcing unsemantic classes and a layout system on you. sencss.kilianvalkhof.com is the framework’s homepage :)

Cheers, Kilian

We all owe you a vote of thanks for putting this list together along with the brief descriptive text.

If you want to make the list even more useful, you might indicate something about the fees for each product.

Do these frameworks really help on client projects? I have yet to find a framework that’s actually flexible and useful enough to use them on multiple clients.

My two favorite CSS frameworks are 960.gs and Blueprint, so I’ve taken the elements that I like best about each framework and mashed them together into one… http://rant.cc/TwP
